Weekend Update

Well really thought I would be able to get a lot more stitching done.  But it didn't turn out that way.  I was able to stitch on my WIP #1 Snowman Carolers  for a bit before my Bella (granddaughter) came by.  I offered to babysit ... wow don't really miss that, she was a little fussy.  I did find time to stitch on Saturday after errands and nephew's birthday party.  The progress on my WIP #1 is coming along, not as much as I would like...guess that is why it called WIP.   :)

Also I have been itchin to stitch at work.  Not a big project just something small and easy to carry.  I don't want to take my current WIPs, like stitching those at home.  Would I be getting over my head if I added one small project just for work?  I  told my self that I could not start a new project until one is complete. Don't think that will last ... lol (stitch addict)!!!

Oh and my BIG news ... I am going to be a grandma again!  I'm happy of the news of a new life just not the situation.  Oh well, definitely have to get my needle flying because that just means more baby things that I'll be stitching.

Happy Stitching Everyone

  1. I don't think there's any harm in starting a small project for stitching at work. Congrats on becoming a grandma again soon.

  2. First, Congrats on being a Grandma again. As Meari said above, I don't think there's any harm in starting the small project either. Every WIP gets finished 1 stitch at a time. :)

  3. I usually have small project - usually a biscornu - to stitch at work over lunch. I keep the bigger projects at home for other times, like waiting at the doctor's office. Congratulations on your new grandbaby. God Bless.

  4. Maybe the small project for work could be for the coming grandchild then you would not feel so guilty. Not that I think you should feel guilty we stitch for pleasure so if it makes you happy go with it.

I have taken small project with me to work a couple of times, not really often, as I don't take long lunchbreaks
